On October 1, Cartier celebrated the grand opening of its new boutique in the Houston River Oaks District and launch of the new Paris Nouvelle Vague collection. The 24 piece collection is inspired by the city of light and asserts Cartier’s daring creativity and pioneering spirit in the new district.
Guests attended in support of the new boutique grand opening and the MFAH, as Cartier is the
exclusive sponsor of the MFAH Leadership Circle. The event was hosted by Mercedes Abramo, President & CEO, Cartier North America; Kari Gonzalez, Boutique Director and Gary Tinterow, Director of Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
The elite crowd were treated to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the new boutique before they danced tomusic by DJ and model MAAD*Moiselle in the custom-built after party lounge, located diagonally to the boutique. A surprise, special performance was made by Grace Weber and her band in the Paris Nouvelle Vague inspired space.
