OliverMcMillan recently invited local media to the construction site of River Oaks District, the highly anticipated multi-use center slated to open this October. This upscale open-air center will include not only a long list of luxury retailers, but also dining, entertainment, offices, and residential quarters. The center is massive, spanning six blocks, fronting on Westheimer with plans to expand and improve surrounding streets Westcreek Ln and Bettis Ln. The media preview day included hard hat tours and a buffet of light bites. Even while being surrounded by an active construction site, they made sure it still felt luxurious. The endless Houston rain may have added to delays to the River Oaks District, but with an opening date of October 1, we’ll be anxiously waiting to stroll and shop at this new space.
