British Import Topshop and its male counterpart Topman has finally opened in Texas. With over 300 stores in the UK, but only 9 stores in the United States, we’re quite excited to be getting the elusive Topshop right here at home. No more ordering online ladies and gents. Of course we were treated to a peek with the Nordstrom x Topshop, shop inside a shop concept, albeit limited in selection. Now we have a 17,000 sq feet store with a full level for women, and the men have their own floor as well.
On Wednesday we were treated to a private sneak preview of the store, and our very own Editor Issa Chou was an ambassador at the event. She was dressed in a Topshop Boutique shirt dress which is also available in store. Sisters Sarah and Saba Jawda wore matching Topshop dresses. Other fashion influencers in attendance included Fifi Phi, Magen Pastor, Fola Lawson, Monica Abney, Yvonne Guidry, Sophia Anderson, and Josh Aaron. Guests enjoyed Ketel One cocktails and bites from Ibiza Houston while getting to shop the store a day early.
For women, you get a taste of all that Topshop has to offer, from the on trend section, to work appropriate, denim, festival and swim, evening, and even tall and petite sections. We were also treated to a few racks of Topshop Boutique, shoes, beauty and of course accessories. Select designer collaborations are also slated to appear in store. Topman on the second level offered a variety with casual wear to their popular ultra skinny suits, shoes and a wall of adorably kitschy socks. With a low to mid-range price range, Topshop and Topman should be a go to stop for any fashion lover in town.
