Best Dressed Luncheon 2015 featuring Jason Wu

Today at the Hilton Americas downtown, the Houston Chronicle hosted the 33rd Annual Best Dressed Luncheon and honored 10 of the most fashionable and giving women in Houston.  This year they raised the most ever in their 33 years, with over $560k to go to the March of Dimes.

The 10 honorees: Denise Bush Bahr, Kristy Junco Bradshaw, Katie Mattingly Brass, Gracie Canvar, Gina Gaston Elie, Allie Fields, Duyen Huynh, and Carol Linn all strutted down the runway to a bio of a list of their many accomplishes in both life and philanthropy.  They each wore an outfit representing their own personal style, but it should be noted that it seems orange was the color of choice for the event with three out of the 10 women opting for the color.

After the honorees left the stage, the fashion show presented by Neiman Marcus began with Jason Wu showing off his freshly shown NYFW collection for Fall/Winter 2015.  There were plenty of neutrals from a muted green, khaki, and black but with pops of red.  The crowd cheered and was in awe with the stunning pieces, especially the many fur accented pieces that made it’s way down the runway.

Guests were able to peruse the collection after the show, and pre-order the items through Neiman Marcus.
